11 million tons of food end up in the garbage in Germany every year, although every 10th person worldwide is currently starving. For this reason, foodsharing e.V., an association that has existed since 2012, is actively involved with over 700,000 volunteers in combating food waste and promoting a more conscious approach to food. To increase the visibility and representation of the initiative, a new, fictitious corporate design has been created. The bachelor project "Rebranding of the initiative foodsharing e.V." was created under the direction of Prof. Laurent Lacour and Franziska Callensee-Nolden at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences in July 2023.
